Hummer Crashes Into Front Yard Of Central El Paso Home
A rude awakening for residents of a central El Paso home early Sunday after an Hummer crashed into their front yard, slamming into a stone wall.
The crash happened around 2:30 a.m. Sunday morning on the 1800 block of North Piedras.
Police told ABC-7 that the woman driving the Hummer lost control and slammed into a rock wall outside a home.
No one was seriously injured, but the driver was taken to University Medical Center with minor injuries.
The owners of the home refused to comment, but a passenger in the Hummer told ABC-7 the driver was allegedly drinking prior to the crash.
Police have not confirmed whether alcohol was a factor in the incident, but said they are continuing their investigation.
