WHAT’S UP: EP’s Jim Ward Announces New Bar, Return Of Sparta

Jim Ward, best known as the singer of Sparta and Sleepercar and former member of legendary El Paso band At the Drive-In, also co-owns Hope and Anchor bar and Clap of Thunder studio. Now he’s taking on a few more roles. Ward and an experienced team of El Paso partners will soon open a bar called Bowie Feathers and a concert venue called Tricky Falls — a two-in-one nightspot in the location of the old Reyn Theatre ay 209 S. El Paso.
