74-Year Old Man Accused Of Having Child Pornography

Investigators assigned to the El Paso Police Department?s Internet Crimes Against Children unit arrested a 74-year old El Paso man on suspicion of having child pornography.

Investigators said they found more than 400 images of child pornography Monday at a residence on the 3400 block of Morehead Avenue. Police said Ricardo Gomez possessed images that depicted in lewd exhibition children ranging in age 3 to approximately 15 years.

Gomez was arrested on suspicion of possession of child pornography. He was booked into the El Paso County Jail, with bond set at $10,000. This investigation is ongoing.
