Man Thrown Out Of East El Paso Bar Returns With Gun, Police Say

The Three Legged Monkey bar is once again in the spotlight.

Around 1 a.m. Wednesday morning, police said 21-year-old Tyler Fikes was kicked out of the bar.

But police said he returned an hour later to block the entrance to the building with his Ford F-150.

When staff came out to confront Fikes, police said he threatened employees and flashed a long-barreled firearm.

That’s when police were called to the scene.

Fikes was arrested and charged with two counts of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon. He was booked into the El Paso County jail with bond set at $40,000.

Police said no shots were fired and the weapon was recovered.
