EPPD Investigating Dollar Store Aggravated Robbery

An El Paso police spokesman tells ABC-7 the department’s Crimes Against Persons unit is investigating an aggravated robbery that took place Sunday morning in central El Paso.

The spokesman said it happened shortly before 10:30 at the Dollar General store on the 3000 block of Pershing Drive.

According to investigators, a man wearing a reflective vest or belt threatened the store clerk with a knife before running away with an undisclosed amount of money.

Police said no one was injured.
