1,100 Pounds Of Pot Found In Parked Van In East El Paso Neighborhood

Officials with the El Paso County Sheriff’s Office said they found more than 1100 pounds of marijuana in van parked in an east El Paso neighborhood on Monday.

Around 5 p.m., the Sheriff’s Office received a call about a suspicious rental cargo van parked on the 500 block of Eastland Street.

According to officials, the unoccupied van was searched and found to have more than $330,000 worth of pot in the back of the van.

The El Paso County Sheriff’s Office said deputies are continuing their investigation and expect to make several arrests in this case.
