Rappers Paul Wall, Baby Bash Arrested In El Paso
A pair of rappers in town for a concert found themselves locked up in the El Paso County Jail early Sunday morning.
Hip-Hop artist Paul Wall posted a picture on his twitter account of he and fellow rapper Baby Bash in the back of a patrol car, both in handcuffs.
According to El Paso county jail records, Paul Wall, whose real name is Paul Slayton, and Baby Bash, real name Ronald Bryant, were both charged with marijuana possession under two ounces.
Records show Slayton, 30, and Bryant, 41, were arrested around 1:30 a.m. and released less than 12 hours later on a $300 dollar bond, each.
The duo performed at Buchanan’s Event Center in east El Paso late Saturday night.
