Woman In Sweat Pants Robs Lower Valley Bank

El Paso police and FBI officials told ABC-7 that a woman robbed the First National Bank at 9342 Alameda Avenue in the Lower Valley at 10 a.m. Friday.

According to the FBI, the woman walked into the bank and approached the teller with a note demanding money.

Authorities said the woman then fled on foot.

The suspect is described as a Hispanic woman, about 30-years-old, and 5 feet 3 inches to 5 feet 4 inches tall. She is also described as having a heavy build, light complexion and dark brown shoulder length hair. She was last seen wearing sunglasses, a gray over-sized T-shirt, gray sweat pants, white tennis shoes and carrying a gray purse.

This case is being handled by the FBI?s Violent Crimes Task Force, which includes the El Paso Police Department and El Paso Sheriff?s Department.

Authorities are asking if anyone was in the vicinity of this bank and/or has information about the robbery, please contact the FBI at 915-832-5000.
