Man Shot In Anthony, NM; Stepfather Detained

Doa Ana County Sheriff’s Deputies are investigating a shooting in Anthony that left a 25-year-old man wounded.

Deputies responded to the 100 block of Boone Circle in Anthony just before 3 on Sunday afternoon. The 25-year-old man was taken to an El Paso-area hospital after suffering a gunshot wound.

Another man, reportedly the victim’s stepfather, is being detained in the incident but has not been arrested, according to Doa Ana County officials. The names of both men have not been released.
