A 9-year-old child died in a rollover crash on Interstate 10 just after 5 a.m. Sunday, according to New Mexico State Police.

The crash occurred 15 miles west of Deming on the eastbound lanes of the interstate. According to police, the driver, 39-year-old Addy Huver, was traveling from Tempe, Ariz., with her three children.

An investigation by police revealed Huver drove the vehicle into the median for an unknown reason, and when she steered back onto the road she lost control of the vehicle which spun out and rolled over several times.
