Former City Rep. Quintana Has Hearing On Probation Status

Former city Rep. Rachel Quintana was back in court for a hearing on the status of her probation Wednesday.

Quintana is on probation after she was convicted of forgery for signing her former boss’ signature in order to get a discounted airline ticket.

Quintana’s probation officer, who was also in court for the status hearing, said Quintana has eight more hours to go to complete the 100 hours of community service she was ordered to do.Quintana has also paid a $1,000 of the $4,000 fine she was ordered to pay.

Her probation officer could not be reached for comment, and it was unclear kind of community service she’s had to do.
