Fugitive Captured

A man wanted in a violent assault Sept. 5 in Westway was arrested

Jose Martinez was identified as the third suspect in the assault, which occurred about at the 1200 block of Westway Blvd., El Paso County Texas on September 5, 2011 at approximately 10:45 AM. FUGITIVE/JOSE MARTINEZ was identified as that 3rd subject and was on the run since.

MARTINEZ was wanted for the offense of Engaging in Organized Criminal Activity and believed to be hiding in the area possibly with friends or relatives, and indeed, JOSE MARTINEZ was found and captured at a relative’s residence after the United State Marshals Service received a tip of his whereabouts.
