UTEP Preps For Homecoming Game
Festivities continue this week at the University of Texas at El Paso, all leading up to Saturday’s Homecoming game at the Sun Bowl.
The university held a pep rally early Wednesday morning with the Miner Band, UTEP Cheerleaders and Golddiggers.
The Miners (3-3), are taking on Colorado State this weekend, UTEP is favored by 7 points. Last weekend, the football squad had a huge win in New Orleans, beating Tulane 44 to 7.
On Friday, UTEP will have its Homecoming parade at noon, followed by a pep rally at 1 p.m. Saturday, the university hosts an open house at the Heritage House on campus at 9 a.m.
The festivities conclude with the football game Saturday night at 6 p.m. in the Sun Bowl.
