Thursday High School Football Bi-District Scores

The Franklin football team looked impressive in in the 5A bi-district round of the high school football playoffs. The Cougars had no problems against Lubbock Monterey in Wolfforth, Texas winning 44-14. Franklin advances to the area round where it face the winner of Arlington Bowie and Odessa Permian.

The Chapin football team advances to the the 4A area round after beating Canutillo 35-14. The Huskies were led by quarterback Seth Gonzales who threw four touchdowns and ran one in. Chapin will now face the winner of Wolfforth Frenship and Wichita Falls Rider.
