Texas? Frittelli Leads Western Refining All-American After Two Rounds

EL PASO ? Sunday?s perfect weather conditions did not carry to the first day of competition as five golfers stand atop the leader board at the 37th Annual Western Refining College All-America Golf Classic.

Texas? Dylan Frittelli completed the first two rounds at six-under par. The senior carded rounds of 69 and 67 to finish with a 136 36-hole total. Frittelli, who finished tied for 27th at last year?s tournament, has a one-stroke lead over Missouri?s Jace Long who is in second at five-under par.

One stroke also separates Alabama?s Cory Whitsett from second sitting at third carding 138 following scores of 69 in each of the first two rounds. Tied at fourth are Georgia Tech?s James White and San Diego State?s Todd Baek with scores of 139.

The third and final round is set for an 8 a.m. start at the El Paso Country Club.
