Police: Two Men Injured In Early Morning Stabbing

Police said they are investigating an early morning stabbing in Central El Paso that injured two men.

The incident occurred just after 2 a.m. Saturday at the Coyote Pool bar located at 5610 El Paso Drive.

Officers responded to the parking lot of the bar and found a 33-year-old man on the ground with a stab wound to the chest. The man was transported to University Medical Center with non-life threatening injuries.

Officers also found another man at UMC suffering from a stab wound from the same incident, only described as a 29-year-old man.

Both men were involved in the same altercation in the parking lot of the Coyote Pool.

El Paso Police are asking anyone with information to call the El Paso Police Department at 832-4400, or to remain anonymous, call Crime Stoppers at 566-8477 (TIPS).
