Apartment Fire Leaves 14 People Homeless

Fourteen people are being assisted by the Red Cross after a fire ripped through their apartment complex in Central El Paso.

The El Paso Fire Department headed to 1012 North Oregon Street around 7 p.m. on Saturday.

Responders say when they arrived on the scene, they saw smoke and flames coming from the complex.

Investigators told ABC7 the cause of the fire was electrical.

Seven fire companies responded to this fire, which resulted in around $15,000 in damage.

No injuries were reported.
