ABC-7 Forecast for the Weekend and Beyond

The winds will pick in the overnight hours as a cold front pushes through the region. Expect gusts to about 40mph with the strongest gusts on the western slopes of the mountains. Highs for Saturday will drop to the low to mid 50’s. We will still be in the windy category in the morning hours of Saturday and will be down to breezy by the afternoon. Expect partly cloudy skies to start off the day then mainly sunny by the afternoon. Sunday will be warmer with sunny skies, calmer wind and highs near 60. Monday will be another breezy day with highs in the mid to upper 60’s and sunny skies. Expect a few more clouds on Tuesday and windier conditions as our next system passes to our north and keeps us windy through Wednesday. Highs will climb to the mid 60’s on Tuesday then drop to around 60 by Wednesday. Wednesday will see partly cloudy skies. Most of the clouds clear out by Thursday leaving behind mainly sunny skies and breezy conditions with highs in the low 60’s. Friday will be a bit warmer with highs in the mid 60’s and sunny skies.
