El Paso Landfill Closes Early Due To Strong Winds

The City of El Paso Landfill will close early today (March 2, 2012) due to low visibility associated with the strong winds that swept into the region, the city?s Environmental Services Department announced.

The landfill (formerly known as the Clint Landfill), at 2300 Darrington Road near Clint, will close about two hours early today to the general public to ensure the safety of Environmental Services customers and employees. The landfill will resume normal operating hours tomorrow.

The landfill is normally open from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Saturday.
