StormTRACK Weather First Alert: High Winds Return This Weekend

The meteorologists at ABC-7 have issued a StormTRACK First Alert for Sunday due to rapidly changing weather conditions approaching the borderland.

The National Weather Service has issued a High Wind Watch on Sunday from 10 a.m. until 9 p.m. for the entire borderland area, with further warnings expected.

Winds across El Paso on Sunday could gust up to 50 mph, with 60 mph gusts possible on the eastern slopes of the mountains.

High temperatures Monday and Tuesday will be nearly 30 degrees cooler than those we experience this afternoon, with continued breezy conditions.
