StormTRACK Weather First Alert: High Wind and Cold Front

We are under a StormTRACK First Alert through tomorrow, as the storm system we had been tracking all week is currently pushing through the region. The high wind will stay in place throughout the night and the chances for showers will push in from west to east. Expect gusts to about 60mph tonight and a 20% chance for showers. A cold front pushes through tonight, which will drop highs to the mid 50’s for Monday and Tuesday. Monday will be another windy day with gusts to about 45mph and a 20% chance for showers. Tuesday will see gusts to about 40mph and a 10% chance for showers as the system exits the region. We’ll be down to the breezy category by Wednesday and the warm-up will begin as we reach highs in the mid 60’s. Expect sunny skies for the rest of the week with highs in the mid 70’s by Thursday and low 80’s for Friday and next weekend.
