UTEP Football Season Tickets Now On Sale

Season tickets for the 2012 UTEP football season, including the opener versus Oklahoma, will go on sale Tuesday (March 20). The UTEP Season Ticket Office is located in Brumbelow Building Room 109 and can also be reached by calling (915) 747-6150.

The Miners will host the perennial national power Sooners for the first time on Sept. 1. UTEP will also take on I-10 rival NM State (Sept. 15) and BBVA Compass Bowl champion SMU (Oct. 6). Rounding out the home schedule are matchups with Tulane (Oct. 20), UCF (Nov. 10) and Rice (Nov. 24). The Tulane game is Homecoming.

Fans who buy season tickets will have the first opportunity to purchase single-game tickets for Oklahoma before they go on sale to the general public in August.

Season ticket prices start as low as $60 for youth general admission and $90 for adult general admission. Family packs are also available (two adults/two children) for only $198.

Bronze reserved prices are $75 (youth ages 3-12) and $120 (adults). Silver reserved tickets are $310, gold reserved are $370 and Captain’s Club are $1,320.

The Miners return 45 lettermen and 13 starters from a 2011 squad that fell five points shy of bowl contention. Among the returnees are senior quarterback Nick Lamaison (1,718 yards passing in ’11) and senior wide receiver Mike Edwards (team-high 657 yards). The defense will be bolstered by the return of linebacker Jamie Irving, who missed the entire 2011 campaign due to injury. Irving ranked second on the team with 79 tackles in 2010.
