Stations Without Gas?

Pulling up to the pump can be hard enough at a time when prices are teasing $4, but what set some over the top is when they went to fill up their thank and their was nothing left.

In fact, several gas stations throughout El Paso seem to be suffering.

ABC7 got a heads up that two Chevron stations in Northeast El Paso were out of gas, and found that stations were gas-less all over the city.

A Chevron sign had been taken off a station that hadn’t had gasoline in weeks in West El Paso.

A station along the 9400 block of McCombs said they didn’t have any gas and a manager told our crews it’d been two days since he had any.

A at the intersection of Dyer and McCombs had unleaded gas, but nothing else.

Management directed gas supply questions to their corporate offices, not Chevron, but Good Times, a local convenience store chain.

An employee with Good Times said the chain in in the process of de-branding, and they’re working to bring in a new gasoline supplier.

New “happy face” signage will be placed at the de-branded locations in El Paso.

Good Time stores didn’t say how many of their 17 locations will be de-branded.

An online check shows that Chevron stations in El Paso have some of the highest prices, including 4 of the 5 most expensive.

Emails to Chevron inquiring about de-branding and their lack of gasoline have not been returned.
