Sun Metro Installs Solar Powered Lights At Bus Stops

Sun Metro recently installed a new solar lighting system for several bus stops around El Paso.

Sun Metro said these solar units will offer riders a better sense of security by providing a bright spot in areas with little to no lighting.

Each solar-lighting unit has solar-powered LED lights that can shine for up to 12 hours.

13 solar-lighting units have been installed across the city:

1. Montana at Airway 2. Diana at Hondo Pass 3. Myrtle at Eucalyptus 4. Montana at Boone 5. Texas at Walnut 6. Mesa at Resler 7. Yandell at Magnolia 8. Copia at Montana 9. Dyer between Lincoln and Truman 10. Paisano at Ochoa 11. Leticia at Montana near Marquis 12. Dyer at Fort 13. Trowbridge at Chelsea
