How much are Olympic medals really worth?

Athletes work all their lives to get to the biggest stage – the Olympics – to try and win a gold, silver or bronze medal.

While they may be priceless because of that hard hard work, someone has actually estimated what the medals are really worth.

A gold medals is worth about $644, a silver about $333 and a bronze is worth less than $4.75.
