Hikers discover remains that may be human
A group of hikers made a grisly discovery Saturday.
According to the sheriff’s office, the remains the hikers found appear to be human.
They were found in far East El Paso, in a desert landscape, officials said.
Deputies told ABC-7 the remains were found 5 miles into the desert near the location of Fabens Road and Indian Trail Drive.
The sheriff’s office is currently investigating the findings.
Deputies said the remains belong to one individual.
