Flash Flood Watch in effect through Friday

Scattered to numerous showers and isolated thunderstorms will continue for one more night. With the area already seeing heavy rainfall throughout the morning and afternoon, flooding is possible tonight.

Here are some of the rainfall estimates we have seen over the passed 24-hours, Rain estimates may increase overnight. Deming .64, El Paso International 1.90, Santa Theresa NWS 1.73, T or C airport 1.25,at the airport in Las Cruces .26, and in Silver City .77.

A flash flood watch remains in effect for all areas until Friday. Moisture slowly makes an exit, scattered showers and thunderstorms will begin to lessen Friday and Saturday.

There is a 50 percent chance tonight for showers and thunderstorms tonight. Thirty percent chance of rain Friday. Stay with ABC-7 at 9:00 on the El Paso Las Cruces CW and ABC-7 at 10:00 for your weather updates for tonight and tomorrow morning.
