UTEP falls on Homecoming

The UTEP Miners dropped to (1-4, 0-2) on the year after a 38-35 loss to Louisiana Tech Bulldogs on homecoming night in the Sun Bowl.

UTEP’s defense was beat often on the ground. Their rushing defense allowed 353 yards on the ground on 50 carries.

After the game no defensive player spoke, or was allowed to speak with the media following the team’s second straight loss.

UTEP only has two home games left this year, and one is this Saturday when they face the Tulsa Golden Hurricane.
