“Good Samaritan” arrested at traffic wreck

A man who was trying to help at the scene of a traffic wreck found himself in handcuffs Tuesday night.

The incident happened near the intersection of South Desert and Redd Road. El Paso police say the driver of a truck lost control and crashed into the wall of I-10. That driver was taken to a hospital with minor injuries.

At the scene was another man, who had stopped to help. But police say that when they arrived, he was acting strange. They went to tell us that after running a background check, they found outstanding criminal warrants.
