Man critically injured in ATV accident
A man in his 30s was critically injured on Friday , after a crash involving an ATV in the desert near Edgemere Boulevard and John Hayes Street, according to the El Paso Fire Department.
Rescue crews responded to the area just before 9 p.m., after receiving reports that a man was found unconscious in the desert under the ATV. Crews worked to assist the man with his breathing and he was taken to University Medical Center in critical condition.
Officials said the man was not wearing a helmet.
