18th officer indicted in overtime fraud investigation

The 18th member of the El Paso Police Department was indicted as a part of an ongoing overtime fraud investigation tied to state grant.
An El Paso grand jury indicted David Jimenez on nine counts of tampering with government documents, with some of the incidents going as far back as 2009.
Jimenez, who retired in December of 2011, worked for the department for 13 years at the Mission Valley Regional Command Center.
