Man convicted of killing a man outside party in 2012 sentenced to 50 years in prison

A jury has sentenced Samuel Perez to 50 years in prison after being convicted of killing a man outside of an East El Paso house party back in 2012.

Friday motning the jury heard testimon from those who know the 26-year-old Perez.

During the trial, a witness said he saw Perez stab Cameron Canada while they were both involved in a fight.
