West El Paso gun shop targeted for second time since May

A gun shop targeted by burglars back in May was the site of another attempted burglary this weekend.

It happened Sunday night at Country Wide Shooters in the Upper Valley.

The burglars smashed the window.

It is unknown what, if anything was taken.

In May, burglars used a rock to smash a widow but window bars kept the crooks out and no weapons were taken.

For months now, that rock has been on display on the store’s counter.

Employees told ABC-7 the store has back-up batteries to keep sensors and cameras rolling.

Anyone with information on the attempted burglaries is asked to call police
