Three hospitalized after wreck with a utility pole

Three people were hospitalized after the truck they were riding in crashed into a utility pole in the early hours of Monday morning.

The incident happened in far east El Paso county on I-10 near Eastlake. Emergency crews say the driver of the truck lost control, but it is unknown if speed or alcohol were factors. According to dispatchers, four people were in the truck. However, Sheriff’s Deputies at the scene say only three were transported to an area hospital.
