El Paso Police arrest man for allegedly having child porn on USB at library

El Paso Police have arrested a 43-year-old man on two counts of possession of child pornography.

According to police, Rodolfo Sanchez, of the 3200 block of Pera, left a USB drive in a computer at the Armijo Library at about 2 p.m. March 7.

As the library employees tried to find the owner, they found disturbing material on the USB and called police. Employees determined Sanchez was the owner of the USB, according to police.

Police say an examination of the USB resulted in the detective finding two videos that showed young girls, approximately 3 to 4 years of age, engaging in sex acts with adult males.

Sanchez was booked into th El Paso County Detention Facility with his bond set at $140,000.

Police investigators say they do not believe Sanchez was involved in the filming of these images and believe the pornography consisted of images and videos which have been traded on the internet.
