Apps will allow fans to follow El Paso Chihuahuas home or away, be interactive at ballpark
Two apps are available to follow the El Paso Chihuahuas and participate in game-day activities at the ballpark.
MiLB First Pitch, currently only available for Apple devices, is the official mobile application for Minor League Baseball.
“Get live game info and stats for all 160 Minor League teams, as well as complete stats, schedules, standings and the latest news for each club. First Pitch is the premier app to follow the top MLB prospects throughout the 2014 season. Once again, MiLB.TV subscribers can log in and watch Minor League games live on their mobile device,” according to the app’s description.
MiLB Inside The Park, available for Apple and Android devices, helps fans at the games connect in unique ways at the ballpark. Available for all 160 minor league teams.
The interactive app allows fans to:
• Vote for between-inning contests, like mascot races
• Sign up to participate in on-field contests
• Share your game day photos with friends on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram
• Earn rewards for discounts inside and outside the ballpark
• Interact with your ballpark map
• Explore your team schedule, promotions, tickets and more.
