Las Cruces SWAT team investigates shots fired
Some residents in Las Cruces woke up to the sound of gun fire Saturday morning. They were forced to evacuate while police and a SWAT team searched the area.
Authorities surrounded a home on the 1200 block of California. Police also blocked off other midtown streets including Solano Drive during the search. Streets reopened up again around eleven, but police are still investigating who fired the gun.
The Las Cruces Sun News reports no one is in custody, but some neighbors where taken into custody for questioning.
