Update: El Paso Police take teen into custody in stabbing of teen on Thursday

May 9, 2014 Update: El Paso Police have taken a 14-year-old into custody in connection with the stabbing of another 14-year-old.

The stabbing happened at about 3:30 p.m. May 8 on the 7400 block of Cielo Vista Drive, near Bonham Elementary.

The officers found the juvenile offender at his residence and took him into custody. The juvenile offender was released to the Juvenile Probation Department on a charge of Aggravated Assault.

The victim was transported by El Paso Fire/Medical for treatment at a local hospital.

El Paso Police in East-Central are looking for the person who stabbed a boy walking home from school.

It happened at about 3:30 p.m. May 8 on the 7400 block of Cielo Vista Drive, near Bonham Elementary.

A police spokesman told ABC-7 that an EMS crew took the boy to a nearby hospital.

No word on his condition.
