Westside wreck on I-10 sends at least one to hospital

At least on person was sent to the hospital early Wednesday morning after a crash on I-10 East near Mesa.

The west side wreck happened at around 1 a.m.

Police confirm that at least one person was hospitalized. According to emergency radio scanners, a 2 year old girl who was strapped to a child seat was injured because the child seat was not properly restrained.

The wreck is not expected to impact morning rush-hour traffic.
