Get ready for complete closure of portion of I-10 this weekend

Drivers beware.

The Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT) will have the following I-10 closures in place at noon Sunday, Aug. 24 and remain closed through 6 a.m. Monday, Aug. 25.

I-10 eastbound between Sunland Park and Porfirio Diaz
I-10 westbound between Porfirio Diaz and Schuster

DETOUR:
Westbound Traffic: Exit at the Porfirio Diaz Exit Ramp and re-enter at the Schuster Entrance Ramp to I-10

Eastbound Traffic: Exit at the Sunland Park Exit Ramp and continue along Paisano Dr.(US 85) onto the US 54 Ramp to re-enter I-10 eastbound

Construction crews will be removing parts of the Yandell Bridge and pouring concrete on the new Spur 1966 bridge deck, located over I-10.
