Man recovering after being attacked with box cutter

A 49-year-old man is recovering after being slashed with a box cutter.

The attack happened evening of Aug. 19 on the 6350 block of Deer Ave. In Northeast El Paso.

Police say he and another 58-year-old man got into a fight, leading to the man being slashed in the head with the box cutter.

Police say the victim is not pressing charges and is expected to be OK.
