Police ID woman killed in single-vehicle collision Monday morning
El Paso Police are investigating the death of a woman killed in a traffic collision Monday morning.
The driver killed has been identified as 36-year-old Diane Valdez.
Police say that the single-vehicle collision occurred at about 7:37 a.m. in the 8000 block of Artcraft when Valdez crashed into an electric pole.
She was taken to an area hospital and died from her injuries.
Police say Valdez was not wearing a seat belt
