Results for Red, White, and You job fair for veterans

Workforce Solutions Upper Rio Grande held its second annual “Red, White and You!” job fair for veterans Thursday at the Coliseum.

More than 90 employers and 1,148 job seekers attended with 224 interviews scheduled as a result of Thursday’s event.

Four direct hires were made on the sport at the fair.

A total of 91 employers and 1,148 job seekers attended this event! 224 interviews were scheduled as a result of today’s hiring event and 4 direct hires were made on the spot at the fair.

The job fair connects Texas veterans and their spouses with employers who value the experience, discipline and other exceptional qualities inherent to the military life.
“Red, White and You!” is a statewide hiring event and each workforce board throughout Texas hosted an event in their region.
