18-wheeler catches fire on Interstate 10

A traffic nightmare happened in East El Paso on Thursday morning when I-10 turned into a parking lot because a semi-truck caught on fire at about 9:20 a.m.

It happened near I-10 and Zaragoza. El Paso Police shut down the freeway in both directions while firefighters put out the blaze.

This created a major traffic jam as drivers were forced to take the gateways instead.
