Family of Lupe Ontiveros is mad El Paso actress was not included in Oscars In Memoriam tribute

The family of Lupe Ontiveros is mad that the El Pasoan who appeared in dozens of movies and several TV shows over several decades, did not get a mention during the “In Memoriam” tribute during the Oscars telecast on Sunday

Ontiveros’ son told TMZ that the family gathered to watch the Oscars and was “disappointed” Ontiveros was not included.

Ontiveros died of cancer last summer.

Sherman Hemsley, who called El Paso home for more than 10 years and died in his East El Paso home last summer, also was not included in the tribute.

TMZ points out that others left out from the tribute include Andy Griffith, Gre Vidal, and Alex Karras.
