El Paso Police: Wednesday death now considered homicide
El Paso Police are investigating the third homicide of the year.
On Wednesday, March 6, El Paso Police responded to a call at a residence in the 10600 block of Onyxstone and found 53-year-old Nora Lorts on the ground in the back yard of the residence without signs of life.
Investigators from the Crimes Against Persons (CAP) Unit were called to the scene to assist with the investigation. The preliminary investigation revealed that the death was suspicious, according to police.
As a result of the autopsy findings on March 8, Crimes Against Persons is now investigating the death of Nora Lorts as a Murder.

This is the third homicide of 2013 as compared to fuve during this same time period last year.
