Mayor Cook’s farewell fiesta today; everyone’s invited
Mayor John Cook’s farewell party from 5 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. today is open to everyone
It will be at the convention center Downtown. Admission is free.
Drinks and appetizers will be provided courtesy of local businesses and organizations that assisted in organizing this meaningful farewell fiesta.
Mayor Cook states, “thanks to everyone for their continuous support in good times and bad times, in right and wrong, and in agreements and disagreements; I always went with what I believed was right. It has been an honor to do it my way; my way is more about doing it our way. May God Bless us all.”
This is a public event, the entire community is invited. No need to RSVP.
