Authorities search for man who escaped custody in West El Paso
Authorities are searching for a man who escaped custody in West El Paso near the Kern Place area Friday afternoon.
A helicopter also has been involved in the search.
El Paso police officials told ABC-7 that the information they have leads them to believe the man is not dangerous because he was wanted for a nonviolent probation violation warrant.
