5:30 pm UPDATE: Road conditions & closures

El Paso

Trans Mountain east and westbound, is closed due to snow and ice.
Scenic Drive was closed at 10 a.m.
Paisano Drive at Dailey Avenue is closed in both directions. The street is being closed temporarily to allow for utility crews to repair a damaged line.

Las Cruces & New Mexico

I-10 Westbound at mile marker 139 just West of Las Cruces is Closed due to severe winter weather conditions. Seek alternate route and expect major delays.
US 70 is OPEN, roads are still slushy and icy in spots at the San Augustine pass mile marker 162 to 172 east of Las Cruces. Motorists are advised to reduce speed and to proceed with caution. Updates will be posted as conditions change.
NM 404 from mile post 0-9 Roadway is icy in spots, please reduce speed and use extreme caution.
