Vehicle collision ends in DWI arrest
A man was arrested on suspicion of driving while intoxicated after involvement in a vehicular accident.
According to the Sheriff’s Office, deputies were sent to the 15600 block of Montana Ave. around 4:15 p.m. Saturday.
Officials then determined 21-year-old James Paul Smith was driving eastbound when he collided with a vehicle occupied by a couple.
Smith was suspected of driving under the influence of alcohol and was arrested, official said.
The two occupants of the other vehicle were sent to a local hospital with minor injuries.
